Dickson Architecture were engaged as the Builder for this project.  Designed by Architect Kate Douglas from Outlines, the extension to the existing dwelling provides a totally new experience for the occupants.  Strikingly, the design includes a commercially rated stainless steel playground slide, giving fun access from the first floor balcony into the features sand-pit at ground level.

The design required a complex structural arrangement of steel, timber and masonry, working one in conjunction with the other for support.
