Located in Bambra, halfway between Geelong and Colac, Hare Krishna Valley is a farm run by ISKCON Melbourne (International Society for Krishna Consciousness).

The design brief called for an extension to the existing cow milking shed to create a large protective Goshala (Cow Shed) structure.  Formed using rammed earth and timber power poles with a lightweight roof structure, the Goshala protects its cow residents from the bracing southerly winds during winter and provides a large thermal mass to moderate summer temperatures.

Cows are able to access excellent sheltered space while visitors are able to visit cows along the open northern colonnade.
